Four large detached houses at Manor Road, Penn.
Approved January 2014. To change tack, we decided on a staggered row of four compact classically proportioned houses. We devised a way of designing them with H or U-shaped roofs to avoid cropped roofs on the quite deep plans, and kept to a fairly disciplined variation on the theme for all four houses.
